30A West
Scenic Highway 30A is a 24-mile coastal road that goes through multiple pristine beach towns along the Emerald Coast in Walton County. 30A West begins at the intersection of Highway 98 and 30A at Topsail Hill Preserve State Park and ends at Grayton Beach State Park. The neighborhoods you’ll find between the two beautiful state parks include Dune Allen, Santa Rosa Beach, Gulf Place, Blue Mountain Beach, and Grayton Beach. In addition to the state parks, you’ll find the Point Washington State Forest and half of the rare and beautiful coastal dune lakes along Scenic 30A.
Located in the heart of 30A and formed in 1885 by Army Major, Charles T. Gray, Grayton Beach is one of the oldest townships in the area.
“Funky and eclectic Grayton Beach’s unofficial motto is ‘Nice Dogs, Strange People.’ As one of South Walton’s original beach neighborhoods, Grayton Beach is known as a creative haven for artists, musicians, chefs, or anyone who wants to escape convention and live the beach lifestyle.”
